Boasting a conversational style that feels remarkably natural, MetaAI crafts engaging dialogues and extends its capabilities beyond mere conversation. It excels in generating AI artwork and even short-form animations derived from those visuals. It stands tall among the elite cadre of AI chat platforms alongside Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude 3.
In my weekly escapades of Prompt Jitsu, I concoct seven imaginative prompts to explore with various AI tools. Previous sessions delved into crafting games with Gemini, composing music with Suno, and enhancing productivity with Claude 3. This week, the spotlight falls on MetaAI.
Let’s kick off with a dive into the surreal. Switching gears to Imagine mode, I prompted MetaAI with a challenge: “Imagine you’re a surrealist artist tasked with creating a dreamscape that embodies the essence of ‘time.’ Craft an image that melds elements from disparate eras, delving into the fluidity and distortion of time in a thought-provoking, surreal manner.”
The results were fascinating, ranging from true surrealism to surrealists themselves immersing in their craft, with the added flair of animations reminiscent of scenes from the wizarding world.
Transitioning to the next prompt, we embark on a journey to a magical school. Initiating a new conversation, I set the stage: “You are a wizard in a fantastical realm, and I am your eager apprentice. Describe the enchanting workshop where you’ll impart spells, setting the scene for my inaugural lesson. Inquire about my preferred focus of magical study: elemental magic, illusion, or enchantment.”
MetaAI, assuming the role of a mystical mentor, elucidated the nuances of each magical discipline, offering an enticing glimpse into the world of sorcery. Opting for elemental magic, I received a lesson on crafting an Earth shield, followed by a query on my satisfaction with the chosen path.
Remaining within the mystical realm, I tasked MetaAI with conjuring an image of a fantastical creature blending the elements of fire and water. Through Imagine mode, I requested: “Generate an image of a mythical being that seamlessly merges the visual traits of fire and water, crafting a potent and unique entity embodying both elements.”

Transitioning to a different era, we delve into a 1920s murder mystery. Instructing MetaAI as the game master, I outlined the scenario: “You are an AI game master orchestrating a murder mystery set within a 1920s estate. The resulting narrative unfolded like a gripping tale, with MetaAI guiding the investigation through successive rounds of choices, each shaping the evolving storyline.
Next, we explore the abstract concept of synesthesia, prompting MetaAI to create visual representations of experiencing one sense through another. With a query in Imagine mode, I tasked the AI: “Imagine you’re an AI artist commissioned to craft an abstract piece embodying the phenomenon of synesthesia, where one sense intertwines with another. Generate an image capturing the essence of ‘tasting colors’ or ‘hearing shapes.'”
The outcomes, while peculiar, captured the essence of synesthesia with intriguing visuals evoking sensory crossovers.
Venturing into the cosmos, we assume the roles of starship captain and AI as we encounter an alien vessel. Instructing MetaAI, I wrote: “You are the AI aboard a starship, and I am its captain. Our vessel has encountered an enigmatic alien craft in the depths of space. Describe the appearance of the alien vessel and solicit my input on our approach to the inaugural contact.”
MetaAI’s response unfolded like a scene from a space odyssey, complete with stardates and tactical decisions, culminating in a rendezvous with the unknown.
Concluding our cosmic journey, we tasked MetaAI with visualizing an extraterrestrial landscape and planet beyond the confines of our solar system. Switching to Imagine mode, I prompted: “Craft an image depicting a cosmic vista featuring a planet unlike any within our celestial neighborhood. Envision a world adorned with unique geological formations, atmospheric phenomena, and alien life forms stretching the boundaries of imagination.”
The resulting panoramas transported us to realms where imagination knows no bounds, featuring surreal landscapes and fantastical inhabitants.
With each prompt, MetaAI proves itself as an invaluable companion, transcending boundaries to explore the furthest reaches of imagination and creativity.
