With the anticipated release of the iPhone 16 Pro in September 2024, excitement is building and rumors are rampant. Now, a new leak offers further insights into the camera capabilities of Apple’s latest flagship.
On May 28, Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial), a well-known leaker with nearly 50,000 followers, posted images on X (formerly Twitter) showing cases for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro. These images reveal a significantly larger camera section compared to the current Pro model, hinting at a major upgrade in the camera system.
The leaked images indicate that the camera housing on the iPhone 16 Pro occupies more than half of the horizontal space, supporting the speculation that Apple aims to close the gap between the Pro and Pro Max models by equipping the iPhone 16 Pro with the 5x telephoto lens of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Despite these enhancements, there are rumors that the iPhone 16 Pro will retain the same camera sensor as its predecessor.
