Meta has expanded the reach of its cutting-edge AI technology, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. In April 2024, Meta unveiled the Meta AI Chatbot for WhatsApp, with the aim of enhancing the quality of interactions and delivering precise information to users.
Taking another stride forward, Meta has now seamlessly integrated its AI Chatbot into WhatsApp’s web version. This integration not only enables users to receive textual responses to their inquiries but also empowers them to generate images using the AI Chatbot. By simply engaging with the Meta AI Chatbot and appending their queries with the command “Imagine,” users can conjure up images corresponding to their requests.
To maintain authenticity and prevent misuse of generated images, Meta has instituted a watermark featuring the Meta AI logo, positioned discreetly in the bottom left corner of all images. Accessing the Meta AI Chatbot within the web iteration of WhatsApp is hassle-free; users need only click on a conspicuous cyan-colored circle situated on the left side of the chat interface. Moreover, the inclusion of “@” in any chat triggers the appearance of the Meta AI option, facilitating effortless access to the AI Chatbot.
Notably, this AI Chatbot leverages Meta’s state-of-the-art Lama Model 3, renowned not only for its prowess in generating standard images but also for enhancing the presentation of textual content, thereby enriching the user experience.
