At this stage, fingerprint unlocking will not be available for linked devices, making the secret code the primary authentication method. Interestingly, users will have the flexibility to create a secret code that incorporates emojis, offering an extra layer of personalization.
Rollout and Availability
The initial discovery of this enhanced security measure occurred in April, and recent updates confirm its rollout to Android beta users. This suggests a broader release to all users in the stable version of the app is expected within the coming weeks.
